Alex Reiser

Originally From Augsbury (Germany), I now live in Christchurch (South Island of New Zealand). I have a masters degree in Parks, Recreation and Tourism Management and on the more practical side, over 10 years experience in the travel industry as an organiser as well as a guide. With a background as a middle distance runner and a skier, I switched to race triathlons five years ago, finally hitting the Ironman distance in 2006. In my first ever Ironman race in Korea, I qualified for the 2006 Ironman World Championships in Hawaii and finished in Kona in the top 100 with a time of 9:19h.
